Each year, the Philanthropy Committee, using funds committed by the Woman’s Club board, gives grants to five or more community organizations. We focus on social service agencies, education, libraries, and programs that serve women and children.

Members are invited to submit the name of their favorite LOCAL (Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, East Menlo Park, Mountain View, Redwood City) social service agency or cultural or educational group, so that we may consider it when we do our research. We focus on groups whose programs benefit women and children. It must be a 501(c)(3) organization. Members provide a description as well as brochures, annual reports, and newsletters from the agency.

Our deadline for member submissions of 2007 grant benficiaries is December 30, 2006.
